bender pipes on my viper?

Does anyone have info or a opinion about the bender pipes on my 04 er . And other mods i would have to do .The Viper er comes w/rear heat exchanger so do i still have to add one?what about the opticool head gasket?Thanks in advance guys! :2strokes:
 

there should be alot of info on this form just search viper pipes. But when I do pipe Im gona save up and get SLP's
 
I can't put SLP'S on mine because of the battery and reverse ,well i guess i could but it would be alot of work
 
I have an 04 ER and bought a set of bender pipes/clutch kit/ jets. I have talked to bender a couple times. They tell me to get the sled to run right with DCS you have to have the head machined. They will machine the head for $150 or so. They also said I would have to run an opticool head gasket and the existing rear heat exchanger is sufficient.

He told me that without the head modifications that the sled would rev to 6000 RPM and just hang there because of the DCS. I have read of others bypassing the DCS. I am not that brave.
 
i had bender triple pipes and clutch kit, added opticool head gasket and my 2002 didn't have rear heat exchange so added that also, did what the direction said too with no helper and i put these on a couple of times with no problem. WHAT a difference, PULLED HARD all day long no bog with back shift and rev-ed out like 9400.i thought it sounded great, wasn't to loud till you cracked it open. then the heads turned. i guess i was lucky also
