How important is it for the two gold rods/bars that go from the rear scissors arm shock mount to the middle shock support to be unbent? While installing the rear suspension, the rear scissors reversed on me without noticing it. When I tryed to mount the rear cross shaft, I ended up putting to much pressure on them and they bent. Is it good enough to remove them and straighten them or do they have to be perfect? They didn't crease the metal, but they did get a little arc. Please advise.

ive done that a few times and straghtened them and havent had a problem. as long as they are there and pretty staight i think theyll be fine.
i was thinking of adding some suport s too it just like a long strip welded it on.
