clean out the cob webs(some wide open throttle ) every once in a while and it wont gum up so bad. Also, set the oilpump cable gap to 22-23mm and try using something other then yamalube, something that will burn a little cleaner, amsoil, klotz, any synthetic based 2 stroke will be a upgrade.

Running a sled like that at slow speed(lower rpm) is what is giving you the problems. My brother-in-law let his little brother use his srx for a weekend, bad idea, drove around in circles in his small backyard. the thing would not run. All the powervalves were gummed up. Also try some synthetic oil. Let that thing open up!!!!
