97 v-max600sx. Was going to try to install a powermadd pivot adapter and 2 inch riser (total 3 1/4inch rise), on my sled, but the oil pump cable appears to be too short.Any one, done this? Sorry I know this is a repeat question.

From what i understand you can only go 2 inches without extending your cables, contact you local dealer or contact Powermadd and see if they have the extention cable kits, i have also heard of ppl using Moutain Max cables, im not sure if that works

I put a 3" powermadd riser on my 01 sxr 700 and all I had to do was move the throttle cable (?). I moved the cable from the right side of the air box to go in between the humps on the air box. When I moved the cable I made sure that it did not kink, and I had full range of my handle bar and there is no binding.
