Been using the same red HC spring for quite awhile now, how long will they go before they sack out??? Anybody ever try Skidoo springs? Are they the same diameter??

You must machine the spider to run a Ski Doo spring as the diameters are not the same. A HC red spring will last quite a while (talking 3-4 years) without any problems.

I prolly got 4 years on this one. I bought a slightly used one that was supposed to be a "HC Red" spring but it looks to short. Any got one out they could measure?

Cacsrx1,
I'm pretty sure that spring I sold you isn't a red HC spring, the HC red spring went with my sled when I sold it. I just assumed you knew the specs on the spring. I should've told you it wasn't a HC spring. Sorry about that. I believe it's a Yamaha spring but I'm not for sure as the guy I bought my SRX from gave it to me with the sled. He said he ran that spring in the Black Hills. He said he only used it 2 or 3 times so I wouldn't think the spring would be sacked out much at all. My gut instinct tells me it's not a HC spring, but hopefully somebody can tell you for sure.
Next time I see ya I'll give you your $15 back.
