Ok i just ordered a new 9830 1" pre punched 144 track, would running a 1.175 stud give me more traction then the 1.075.
I just dont see the 1.075 being anough its only like 5/64 more then the lugs.

The way that they measure studs is a little confusing. For instance, once tightened up properly, a 1.075" studs will stick over the lug of that track just under 3/8". Normally I would recommend running the 1.075" studs in that track but as long as you treat the track right and don't hammer it on roads and stuff, you can run the 1.175" studs pretty safely. Hope this helps
Also, the track shipped out today and it should be there by wither wednesday or thursday. Thanks
If you need any studs let me know aswell. Thanks

I have 1.075 woody's in my sx 700r with the stock track and there is plenty of penetration, even after 6,000 miles. And no broken studs.

humm good to know sense i already have 120 studs in my stock track, but they are a b**tch to remove so i might be better of selling the track and buying, some new ones.

120 1.175's woody signatures on the stock 1" Venom track.Hang out about 7/16" over top of lug. Hook up real well 1400mi no damage but if you have a rear heat exchanger you need protectors it will scratch lightly at speed or big trail whoops if the track isn't really tight. i don't like to run my track that tight.

Either length is fine. I have 168 1075 gold diggers up the middle of my 136 predator 1". no issues in 10K kms.
