It will bolt in on the mounts and all, youd need to swap in the viper electrical harness as well. You will have to do a small amount of fab work on the hoses as the viper has a extra hose off the front exchanger. The head on the viper isnt the same as the coolant rail is on a srx, the viper used a seperate thermostat housing. Now here comes the question as to how easy of a swap you will have, are you gonna use the stock single pipe or try to use the srx triples?

there is a guy on here that did this, i helped him out with his wiring, built it for his wife. if you keep the post up a few days he may see it.
myself, i think you would be going backward. srx engine has more power, is more efficient and just a quiet.

i am going to use the viper exhaust since I found a wrecked viper. tunnel, bulkhead, left side trashed. Srx is missing motor and exhaust. Cheap buy on both only reason doing it.

Viper Motor in SRX
It can be done, My roomate and i did it last year with the help of BETHEVIPER do a search, and you will find our orginal post with pics. The hardest things we ran into was the coolant hoses and the thermostat. When you get to that part BETHEVIPER can help he was our savior and my roomate put 1500 Kms on it last winter. You will need to use the viper wiring it will bolt on the opposite side of the SRX, We used the viper tach for RPM'S and the SRX speedo. the viper muffler will need some convincing to get it to fit ( bang here and there should do it. We didn't care if he was going to keep the motor in the sled we would have went to tripple pipes) Right now the motor has been pulled and the SRX motor should be all back together by the weekend. Let me know if you have any questions.
