Lots of mothers paste ! Also I started with fine grit sandpaper (wetsand) I think 1500... And then just went at it with lots of rags and mothers paste or liquid. Also i used a mouse sander with a rag over the pad and went at it once the paste was on the tunnel and then took it off with some clean rags.
Im not a big fan of aluminum tunnels id rather then painted Black from the factory, much easier to take care of.
Also its better to take off the seat for a better job.

Never pollished anything when i had arctic cats... they dont look as good in my eyes, but vipers have really stood out to me... main reason why i bought one! I will see if i can buff it up to look like that for this weekend! Thanks for the advice
Kirk

I bought mine with 900 miles on the machine Very dull tunnel and thought i would never get the tunnel as polished as it is now but with a little work you can !

Before and after pictures , As you can see the tunnel was very faded even with only 900 miles on the machine when i first got it.

Very nice Looking machine! What kind of hand guard mounts did you use? Could you provide a close-up of left & right handle bars? I'm looking for some mounts but don't want to place them between the grips and blocks. Thanks!
