Hey just wondering what you guys put on your black pipes to keep them looking good. My buddy has some type of stove pipe stuff he wipes on his..but I can't remember the name

I assumed you are looking for a cheap fix, but Ding is right Creramic is the best. Very expensive about $175 for a single pipe. Triple pipes, ouch.

Sandblast or beadblast them good, and then use several thin coats of high temp (at least 1500*F) paint. After the paint is dry put them on the sled and run them through a few heat cycles before riding it. Be careful not to scratch the paint off before you run them through heat cycles or it will scratch very easily and rust from that point. Take your time and do a good job and it will last a long time. But if you have the money, go ceramic coating! Loved that coating on my CPR triples on my SX 700R
