Take a look at this!

I wonder if they smoked a heat exchanger and did some redneck engineering.
Well seeing it is out of Indiana & have bought 2 my self from there .... Yea redneck engineering for sure! You would think some air flow would help!

I was stairing at the pic & just saw there is no air box either! This could be like a game "find out what is wrong with this pic!"

hey... wow, whats wrong with indiana! "redneck engineering"... we have two of the best engineering schools in the nation here! but ya... that sled has seen better days.
Just the experience I have had with my 2 sleds from there! IN is fine! Hell I live in KY! But I keep the sleds as new as possible!

There is no resivor bottle either. He took it out and looped the hoses together. Maxdlx

just had to give ya a hard time!
MY bad its from OH! My 700 was a OH sled, was about as bad as the two from IN! LOL! Wrong belt, busted primary, skid shot, bad skis & the corn stalks I pulled out from god knows where!

Well that is going to be a real fun project for some unlucky purchaser.

The bid is up to $520 or so but not met a reserve yet. Got to wonder how high the reserve is if $500 is not enough to cover the "trade" for a 4-wheeler.

Maybe we should start a "What is wrong with thiese pictures" thread and post our "how to fix your recent ebay purchase mule" thread seeing as how someone is going to need a bit of help with this one.

Ideas so far on a quick glance:
Old sled radiator under hood plumbed god knows how may be there for a fix for a thrown stud into the front cooler. The front head drain is plumed around then to an elbow to the rad then back out to the read head input so there is no other working plubming on this vmax.
It will run fine ok but a bit lean till the foam socks fill up with fuel spiting out of the carbs so I'm thinking it is a short duration rider.
Ice drags are out. That pattern is almost like having no studs at all.
Looks like it goes thru plugs since the spare holders are empty.
A fix for the new "Coil bracket" might be handy. I still can't fine the CDI unless that was it wedged between the oil bottle and the new radiator. It is always good to have loose wires down by the jackshaft.
The lower left radius arm may be a bit bent.
The lower right radius arm is either missing the red cover or just missing alltogether.
Looks like someone painted the foot area of the tunnel red.

Now for the good news.
2400 miles
trailing arms look stock and not bent.

Sounds like the condition I woke up in last Sunday morning.
