I want to get the top driveshaft out of the chaincase, so I can remove the chain case all tobgether.

If I remove the circlip holding the upper bearing in, will that allow me to remove the chancase from over the shaft?

How do you get the top shaft out?

If all the bolts are out you should be able to put a prybar behind the chaincase and pry out without removing that bearing c clip if it does not pry behind the rotor and make it free.

i removed the collar bearing on the speedo side (with the 2 set screws) then pushed the shaft trough into the tunnel, then just removed the whole shaft

I want to remove the top shaft now, but it sems to be stuck in the top bearing on the chaincase side

Yeah the parking brake is holding against the stuck roter thats all.Tap and pry it will all slide off together.Go back out to the garage and try lol.

If it still won't come off, get a bigger hammer an bar. It has to slide off.
Be careful not to lose the locating key under the disk brake.
And BE SURE TO PUT IT BACK IN when you go to install the rotor again!
I lost a very good snap-on ratchet in the bush the day I put it all together and the brake rotor turned on the shaft.lol.

Yup! One ratchet after the key thing and one adjustable wrench in the woods after I skinned my knuckles!
I looked for the ratchet a couple hrs later, but no luck.lol.
Did ya get it off yet chilli?
