Hi
I just purchased a new pair of yamaha saddleless skis for my srx. How much of a handling upgrade from stock skis will these be? also I;m will they bolt in with the rubber snubber from stock skis??
thanks

I just put the newer mtn skis on mine. Haven't had a chance to try it yet but being the keel is much larger it should turn better. Also, don't waste your money on the rubbers (i did). The only difference is the stock ones have the little angle piece that points down. Just remove it.

re

thanks for reply, i know the skis are saddleless does that mean they will have a more agressive keel, thanks

No, it just eliminates the saddle. I put a set of RX1 skis(w/saddle) on my older vmax and they had just as an aggressive keel. Remember, your front will sit slightly lower with these. About 1"

re

so other than sitting about an inch lower, there isnt any other bennefits over the factory skis with saddle?
thanks

Yes the saddleless skis are a little more aggressive than the stock srx skis, the keel is a little deeper.
