I have a 97 twin Sled was bought w/ a bender kit in it, Orange primary spring from bender & not sure on the helix angle , 4000 rpm engagement runs great! Also go to the tech pages there are several set ups!

I just purchased another 600 for my wife. So I'm going to be doing some set up work my self. The clutch page is http://www.totallyamaha.com/snowmobiles/aaTECH/tuning page.htm
The 8ab is the same profile as the 8ca.

if you want a cheap upgrade put in a 48-42 helix and keep the stock springs that's what came in the clutch kitfrom maxximum performance for the xtc/xt.

That's the one I was talking about too. With the head gasket mod it was pretty quick. Back in the day I remember smoking my buddies new mxz670 off the line to about 70 then he would creap by.pro116 said:if you want a cheap upgrade put in a 48-42 helix and keep the stock springs that's what came in the clutch kitfrom maxximum performance for the xtc/xt.

Pro, I wouldn't mind buying maybe a couple springs, helix, or weights. I think I have some 8ca's left from my old SX700
