Having a hell of a time getting one of the 2 stock transfer rods out......I can't get the bolt to spin at all......I hope I dont have to cut the bastard.....
Any tips??
The rightside came out easy as 1 2 3...the left....I can't budge it, and no room to get a socket in there

Maybe try a pipe on the end of a six point box-end wrench. Even if the bolt snaps you should still be able to get it apart then.

get a good penitrating oil , like LPS#3 or mouse milk. soak over night, then try heat and tap the bolt with a hammer, also some times if you tightin it a bit it helps break it free. also try heating the wrench with a hammer.

obviously, you mean the adjuster part is on backwards?? The rod only goes on one way...They were like that from Royal Distributing when I bought them, so I figured that was the way they wanted...as usual, TY to the rescue!!
As for washers, I re-used everything that was there already...each bolt hat the nut, washer, plastic shim.... are there normally 2 white plastic things per? If so, mine didn't have the 2nd one...

yes the adjusters are upside down and there should be the white washer or spacer above and below where the bolt goes in.
You should be able to open the picture I attached in windows picture viewer and zoom in.

it must vary between the 98,99's and the 2000 and up
There are different rods all together for 2000+ srx's....
I i re-checked the install guide, and they show both the same size
