Just bought this sled, and the manual says it's a temp sensor code. I replaced the temp sensor with a known good one, and it's still flashing. Found where someone had repaired some wiring on the hood harness. Looked like it laid on the exhaust and melted the coating off the wires. I repaired it, and it's still flashing 3 times. Is it entirely possible that the harness is broken under the recoil area of the engine as well?? I've traced the wires back as far as I can see, and I guess I'll need to remove the exhaust and keep fishing huh? Any other suggestions from past experiences??? Any help would be appreciated! Thank you.

Do a search on wiring harness, you will find a BOATLOAD of information on this topic. Yes it is not only possible, but fairly probable that your problem is the harness grounding out on the chassis under the mag side of the engine.

Thanks! Thats what I was afraid of. What a pain to take all that exhaust off! UGH! Thanks for the insight though. I'll tear into it Thursday night and report back! Thanks again! Viper
