Hi guys
I phoned mpi and asked there sales guy if there was a sway bar mount on there trailing arms as it looks like they do and the guy said he was not sure??So he said he would phone me back and never did(great customer service) so if anybody has a set could you please tell me if they have a swaybar mount on them,Maybe I will phone fabcraft and see if they want my money.
Thanks Steve

Call fab craft. You will wait for 5 years before mpi calls back. I think fab craft makes them either way you want them. Maxdlx

CB's are great trailing arms. Just look at my avitar. They have the mount on them noi problem. Maxdlx

I will on Sat. It is still dirty, and i am leaving in 10 minutes for Dodgeville ws for 2 days. Maxdlx

MPI's DO and DO NOT have the sway bar mount on them... it depends so if you order from them be sure to order them with the mount on them.

MPI's DO HAVE THEM

SXVIPER32 you are wrong. After I bought those junk ones that were supposidly mint from you (one with a mount and one without, two different colors, one with a cracked weld and one slightly bent) I bought a brand new set from MPI. I am looking at them right now and they have mounts.

matt... sorry but you are wrong. i had the arms bead blasted and there is no cracks in the welds... and i did not see how they are not straight either, look pretty straight to me... and i called mpi and asked them and they said they can come with or without mounts... so no, i am not wrong, you just made yourself look like a fool. can't believe you would try to slam me when i reimbursed you and everything over a small paint flake, but thanks tho...

A fool

I am sorry, but I don't think I am the "fool" here. I bought a "pair" of trailing arms from you. Now I'm not sure about where you are from, but where I come from "a pair" means that they MATCH. Not two COMPLETELY DIFFERENT arms. One with a sway bar mount and one without. They are different in spindle height from the bottom of the spindle to the actual trailing arm shaft, and although no big deal the paint doesn't match. OK, if you had them bead blasted and there is not a crack, I believe you, my mistake.....but the other issues can't be argued. THEY ARE NOT A PAIR. As far as making me whole, I had to pay to get them here and to ship them back to you. Honestly, I feel they were listed as a "pair" and since they were not even close to a pair I don't think I should have had to pay ANY of the shipping costs. I talked to a moderator when I received those trailing arms and I was advised that rather than argue about it when I was holding two different trailing arms and you are holding my $$$ I should just chalk it up to a learning experience and get as mush $$$ back as possible. I took the moderators advise and I ended up paying to ship them here AND back.......I'd hardly say you made me whole!!! If you really want to make me whole then pay me all the shipping costs. This is the first bad deal I have ever been involved in on this site.........and from a VIP member none the less. I have no knowledge of anyone ever being dissatisfied with anything I have ever sold on here so please, don't tell me I look like a fool.

:offtopic: Guys someone asked a question about MPI trailing arms and sway bar mounts. You guys could settle this one on your own thread. Just a thought. Later, XC

To get this back on topic, I love my MPI trailing arms. Chromoly w/ black powder coat. Very light compared to stockers (and have the entire MPI front end.........spindles, control rods etc.). Mine have sway bar mounts and I did not have to ask for them. Still on the fence about trying it without the swaybar this season. I might just unhook one side for a ride or two and see how it goes......

Back on topic

Yes, sorry about the off topic frustration. I have had three different sets of these and I have been very happy with them all. The first set I ordered with the aluminum shafts and they did both develop a bow in time. I called MPI about them and they apologized up and down and said I probably ought to have the chromalloy for aggressive trail riding. They sold me the chromalloy shafts at cost and no charge for shipping. So, I guess my point is that I personally would recommend not getting the aluminum shafts unless for ice, grass or asphalt sleds. Oh, and all of the ones I have ordered have had sway bar mounts even though I did not ask for them.

CB's will not bend trust me. i have abused the hell out of mine, and they are still straight as the day they where new. When you hold one in one hand and a stocker in the other, you think they are made of paper. Maxdlx
