Have a 1774 Moto Ski Grand Sport 440 with 586 miles. Propped the back end up the other day fired it up and gave her some gas. I would say that I had it about 1/2 throttle. The RPM was up but it was only goin about 15 or 16 mph. I looked at the clutches and belt. I did notice that the belt seemed kind of floppy after the clutches engaged. I thought the belt should be tight when the clutches engage (dont know). Could this be that the springs are not effective from being compressed for some 33 years in the clutches? I am trying to get it ready for the muni ride. It wont be my trail killer lol I just want to monkey around with it up iin Muni.
