Clutch sheaves

Will the primary sheaves of a 2002 srx fit a 1998 vt700? The part #s are not identical.

yes, difference is in the cover, just use the tall springs with it or change cover out.

srx also has set screws on weight pins

always wondered what the set srews were for. BETHEVIPER, would you mind explaining? do they keep the pins from rolling? why did my 99 phazer have them and my 98 xt 700 didnt, upgrade from 98 to 99?
