I am not sure how to do this, i've heard about ppl saying to try a leakdown test. what is involved into finding out if your Carb-boot or Reeds or spacers are letting air in.
Im guessing get a jug of water and just pour a little bit On Each carb boot and reed spacer and see if the idleing goes hay-wire.
Might be a stupid question this far into the game but shit happens. never really heard anyone explain it.

not a really good idea with water but you can try some wd-40 or something that will burn easily

Carb cleaner works, and probably not as messy as WD40.

Yeah the trick is to have it idling and spray around all seals around the engine that your worried about if the idling increases you have found a leak. Carb cleaner is the best, it will evaporate if you cant get it all wiped up eventually. Go slow and methodically giving it a couple seconds before moving to a new spot and spraying.

use propane, turn on the bottle and point it towards the boots, if it idles up then you have a leak.
