but the stock one is just sitting in the shed doing nothing. I'll never use it as is (clear) so I think i may try and paint it black. I want to cut it down and paint the inside black and see what it looks like on the sled, problem being it was on the sled for the first little while and is somewhat scratched up. It's not bad, but some rough stuff for sure. Is there anything good to polish the clear plastic with before painting so the scratches don't show? also i assume I'd paint the inside of the windsheild black and leave the outside as is? thanks ahead of time, I know this has been touched upon in other threads, but I wanted some good answers. Jeff

Yes Jeff there are some plastic polish you can use to clean the inside and out. Plastixs (sp) is the name? Paint the inside of the winshield. Buy black fusion paint. Not sure where to get it, do a search on hear for location. Some people have used regular paint but I hear the fusion paint flexes better?

LIGHT COATS OF PAINT.....

thanks a bunch, never even thought about paint flexability.....I woulda used reg stuff and had it all cracked to hell in no time, thanks again

Go to a hobby store and buy paint meant for RC model bodies. It will never come off and needs no prep.

wal mart sells krylon fusion paint for plastic same size rattle can as all the others and it's around 4 bucks. i wet sanded my windy with 2000 then 2500 and then a quick buff and all was good.
