I read about how to bleed a Vipers coolant but my 2002 doesn't have a bleeder on the back under the seat. I think my Viper may have a heat exchanger from a SRX. It isn't a tube, but has an actual rear heat exchanger that's kind of curved and about 6 or so inches high. The hole is in the tunnel where a bleeder screw may be but there is nothing in the hole, just the top of the heat exchanger......so A) has someone changed the rear heat exchanger before I bought this sled and B) how do I bleed the coolant once the system is empty? raise the front and fill and then run till hot with the cap off like I would a car? thanks

seems like someone took the easy way out on the install, there is a bleed screw on the exchanger its just not in the same spot as the tube, you are gonna have to uninstall the exchanger and cut a hole where the actual bolt is on the exchanger. atleast that is what i had to do.
Fill and run till warm. Re-check and fill again if need. Run the front of sled on trailer ramp or elevate the front of sled as high as possible (overflow tank higher than rear cooler by a couple feet ). Loosen pressure cap to safety notch. Run till good and warm and watch for bubbles in overflow tank. If you have heated carbs be sure they are open.
Check level again and run again.
Should do it.

take a 1in hole saw and drill a hole in a piece of plywood, now remove the drill bit back it out so it wont drill in. now clamp or hold the plywood so the hole is over the srx bleeder. now the plywood will hold the saw centered without drilling a hole first.
because of the design of the heat exchanger, there is no way to get the sled to bleed buy ramping it. no matter how high the sled is in the front there is still the front section of heat exchanger that will be above the hoses.

YOU NEED to remove the heat exchanger and hole saw a 1 inch hole for the bleeder.. I would NOT RECOMMEND driving that sled without bleeding!!!!!! You will get an air pocket and HURT SOMETHING!!!
