went you look for ritch or lean condition at full throttle do u need to hold the throttle to full open went you shot the motor off or its doesnt matter ... why some tell that you need to keep it full throttle

you keep the throttle in the spot in which you want to check the carb calibration, for example if you want to check the idle circuit, you obviously leave it at idle speed, mid range(needles) you leave it at midrange because closing off the throttle and then shutting the sled down will result in a overlap of the carb circuits and ruin your plug check, this is most evident thought on the wide open check, by not keep the throttle in same spot till engine dies will quickly ruin the pattern.

Does it need to be done under load, or can it be done on a stand outside in temps. We can't get snow, but may see some 0 degree temps soon. Tired of ruining hyfax this year LOL Maxdlx
ok thnx mr viper ill try it tomorow i put 165 and seem to run ritch cause went you run in straight line and punch well motor bugg like if u put a big load of gaz so ill down jet too 160 and take a look at it
