Quick Question about oil.

I have a case of Amsoil HP INjector oil left over from my Phazer. Can I use that in my Viper, or should I be using something else? I think I'll stick with Amsoil as a brand though.

hp injector oil is fine

I use the hp injector oil in everything. Sleds, atv, outboard engine, snow blower and the fu@!in weed wacker. works great. I mix 1 jug @ 40:1 and put it in everything. And I put it in the the oil tanks in all of my sleds.

Ive been told by MANY to use AMSOIL Interceptor with any Yamaha with powervalves. Or oil that is for PVed machines, the HP Injector oil would be used for somthing like the SX or your older Phazer. You could use it BUT you would be cleaning your PVs more often or theyll be harder to clean vs. a oil made for PVs, elminates alot of the scraping and scrubbing.

I use the hp injector oil and it doesn't gum up the pv's as bad as yamalube...still clean them every 1000 miles and you should be all set

Yes go head and use it,then swich to the interceptor..

if you have some left over just use it all up and switch over to interceptor and no more worries.
