I was pretty suprised also. He said things were not great and needed the money. He was pretty unhappy though. He appeared to be pretty pissed off about selling it. Oh well. his loss, my gain.

Good for you. Alway nice to be in the right place at the right time. If he was that upset, he didn't have to sell it. An additional job could raise 1600 bucks pretty quickly, even if it meant flipping burgers.
