Putting a ext on the Viper to 136--- need help on what size lug to go with? 1.25-1.5? Mostly trail riding and a little off trail! Am I going to have to do more work if I go with the 1.5 over the 1.25?
Also what else do I need for the swap- gears,anti-rachets?

Thanks

I did a 136" last year if ride mostly trail and some off trail.go 1.25 preadtor 6 pitch I loved my track I did most of my riding in the up off trail. You don't need anti ratchet drivers I like them you can run the track a lot looser and in pwder with a loos track your track won't ratchet. As far for gears I would go down a tooth on your viper to
21-38 stock is 22-38.

ext

yes I sude rail extensions and I do alot of jumping no problems.I sed the stock wheels.I would go with tracks usa rail extensions there the strongest out there with the most support, you can runs slides on the extensions' too.I ran mtn performance tunnel extension's and hartmans.I prefer the hartman.I think there stronger too.

i just finished 136" ing mine. I went with tiped rail extesions ripsaw136" fully clipped(Maim got it for used from a memeber on TY) and i used the tunel extesion peice from a 03 viper mountain. Had to mode the extesion but managed to get my srx rear cooler in there. I would so with one of the tunnel extension form one of the dealers that makes them unless you like to mod new stuff out of the box ;) . Othere than that waiting for snow to check the gearing an clutching,.

:letitsnow :2strokes: I did a 136 last year on mine used a Warrior skid . Went with a 1 1/4 " Ripsaw , stock gears , Goodwin clutch kit and a Maxx Perf . extension with a rear cooler . It works
for me

if you do mostly groomed trail riding i would'nt think you would want a 1.5 ride quality could suffer. i would set up the sled for the conditions that i ride in 90% of the time not the other 10%.

I ended up with a 1.25 and ext from track usa! in the process of installing new bearings and rebuilding the skid! NEED SOME SNOW!!!! Wondering if this is a sign for the rest of the season!
