first off i would like to say speedos are way off! my speedo was at 110 and the radar said 96.

so my sx got 96 on radar. i think it will go faster when im not breaking thorugh the ice and i have a longer stopping distance.

how fast on radar have people had their 700 sx going? also list mods.

i have triple pipes, v force 2s, peak head, geared down a tooth and clutch work

just took a few pics. i like!

your sled has issues if that is the speed your pulling. what track do you have in that sled and is it clipped for the guards. a stock sx will go this fast. you got something wrong.

put the stock gear back in it. i think these sleds came from the factory geared a little steep. 96 sounds about right with your gearing.

yea im pretty sure the gearing screwed me. like i said i wasnt maxed out, i came across about 150 feet of water then realized i needed to slow down before i even got to the radar in order to stop before going into some trees.

i think im going to gear down...

track is .5 inch but the studs are 1.25 inch. no idea why anyone would use such long studs, bought it from someone on here not knowing they were that long. oh well good deal anyways.

hooks up good lol. do you ahve a viper S skid up there? or something i might want thats in good shape. im sick of my POS skid. maybe even another short travel skid im not sure yet

I seen a stock piped sxr go 113 on radar in a 1/2 mile a couple weeks ago.I think mrsled had his up to 115 with the stock single pipe.

I have been radared at 114mph in about 1/2 mile on hard pack road, speedo read;-buried-,I have triple ,slp's,reed spacers ,head mod..etc..... but since then I have put in long travel and a 1-1/4 track...be lucky to git 105 now, but yes with triple pipes you should gear down with the 98 ;s and 97;s sx's, you wont lose a thing on top end! and gain a whole lot on low end!

update!!!

99 mph on radar with the slides sticking to the track.

i think its becuase of the 1.25 inch studs on ice that is causing top end speed loss

sean, i have a skid that a friend is selling, it was originally from my viper, extra grease fittings, bearings in front shock, bullet proof w arm, update shocks, adjustable viper rods. call me tomorrow if you want it. 5320882 i also have front shocks for it too.

My video is not posted right now, but my 01' SXR with pipes ran 110mph on the gun and exactly the same on the GPS with 21/39 gears and 1.25 track. If I remember 21/39 figures out to 109 mph on paper. Doug
