OK i just installed my new 1" 9830 and it just bearly rubs on the front heat exchanger protecters. Should i clip those little round nipples off, where it rubs. Or shoul di just let it where down.

Also installed 1.175 studs and wow they are long wish i would of went with 1.075.

You can safely let the protectors wear into the track. I would let it take care of its self, but its not my sled, so do whatever makes you feel better.

clip it, it takes forever to burn a track down and you will probly ruin the plastic upper guards doing it.

keep it as tight as you can running 1.175 studs or it will grab your tunnel under the gass tank.

dont clip it too low.

clipped track

I have installed the 9818 1 1/4 inch without clipping in my 01 SRX. So I would say with a 1 inch track I am suprised it even touches. Since it is touching it sure can't be by much. I would not worry about it at all. As far as the stud length you might want to install some type of tunnel protecter. It could be real close.
