'82 440f track length?

a budddy has a 1982 440 ss and the skid is locked up on it.......we are looking at replacing the skid, but we are not sure of the length of track....116 or 121"... anybody know off hand???

116" on the 1982 440 ss. same track as the early phazer and 78 to 80 srx.

good luck. they try to sell you a 114" track when you try to order replacement for that sled. id go for a good used 121" and move it back before i moved it ahead.

If you can not find a 116" I may have a couple of brand new ones kicking around here somewhere.

I stuffed a phazer rear skid in a 81 ss 440. Its probably gonna be alot easier to find phazer parts than ss parts, plus its a better skid
