Gentlemen....I have found the problem. Im sure that im not the only one who sufferied. I have posted a few posts regarding the hc weights, and getting them set up properly. I just spoke to hc, and believe it or not, but i was sent the wrong weights. there were a hand full of hc2 sent out that were designed for racers. they were 48.9 grams empty. the way you can tell if you have the wrong type is to look at the heel. if it is steel your ok.
if it is alumimum, your in trouble. it is only 10 grams.
it was recently pointed out that you can still use them and add more weight to the heel. according to hc, the entire geometry is off for the spec supplied.

I practically wore out my clutch bolts taking it on and off!

My retarded dealer (the one who told me that you can not use a multi angel helix on an srx without eating the bushings) told me that they have a set up (sounds like yours) that is very trailable 4400 rpm engagement and set up on an srx will radar in high 129-135 mph in 1/2 mile.
it also sounds like from what they have said, that it is not just a racing set up but it works well for trail as well. (not deep snow)
i will find out what it is and forward this as well to you.
what is your designed for? just drag or everyday aggressive riding?
is engagement very high?

THIS SET-UP IS AGGRESSIVE. YOU CAN STEP UP TO THE PLATE WITH MORE HELIX AND THAT MAXXIMUM WHITE SPRING. THE SET-UP I GAVE YA IS AROUND 4500 I BELIEVE FOR ENGAGEMENT. I GOT TOO TELL YA THOUGH 129/135 IN THE 1/2 MILE IS DREAM METER CITY. ALOT OF GUYS DON,T LIKE THE 8BU-00 WEIGHTS FOR TOP SPEED. I HAVE SEEN GOOD MPH IN MY 02 SRX WITH THIS SET-UP. REMEBER THOUGH THIS SET-UP IS AWFUL IN DEEP SNOW. TRY IT YOU WILL LIKE IT. ALSO REMEBER LIKE ANY SET-UP, AND MIKE BRODA WILL TELL YA, YOU HAVE TOO FINE TUNE. 3:16 (tony)

my01 srx has been good. just hates loose conditions for high speed runs
i have had her to 183 kmph or about 115 mph on hardpack with a 1.25 rip saw in stock form. what is the maximum white spring in lbs? eg 270-380 etc. hard to get them here.
