It seems the 51/43 helix and the green spring in the secondary is the goto improvement on the Viper over stock, but does my weight make a difference in that change - I go about 270 lbs fully dressed. When pinned, my rpms go right to 8600 and then rise to 8800-9000 depending on temperature. the primary remains stock as is the rest of the machine.

Turk told me to run a 53/43 with green spring and change the inner rivets to 4.5gram

I tried a dalton 53/43 with the green secondary spring on my 04 viper s and i didnt like it.I seemed to pull hard but it didnt backshift as good as stock.I tried less spring wrap,i tried more spring wrap and i just couldnt get it to work.I didnt try the 4.5 rivets though.
I have the 53/43 with green spring at a 60 wrap and it works for my 03 Viper.
Everything else is stock, no rivets. Each sled is different.
