Secondary clutch

Can you run the secondary without the adjusting screws for belt height that are in the back? I cant see why not.

alot of guys take them out and run arctic cat shims in the secondary

I run without them all the time, I use the dial adjust belt deflection knob on them, you can adjust the belt deflection in a couple seconds, very simple and easy.
