your still set up for the grass??no snow or what? I ran 20/39 8ca's,stock rollers, silver sec.51/45- turned 8,800-8,900 and sled was in all finals last grass season...i'd get a silver secondary if your setting it up for 500ft.Didn't know slp had an update to run the slp's at 8600???
we still have no snow and little ice, plus i have an 06 attack so the viper hasnt seen the trail in 2 years.my set up at the lakeveiw was very close to yours.i usually make it to the top 5 or better.i just think their is more in it without motor work

slp still says rpms should be 8700-9000, just spoke to them.
but peak torque is at 8500 (90.7 ft/lbs).

check out this thread(if i did it right)page 1 will show the graph page 9 shows the results.max perf, recomended i move to 8600 first, slp will tell you to run 88/9000 if you run their clutching, which im sure you guys are not.

run 14.5 rollers, and load those CA's to the gills with weight (4.5 in both holes). I use dalton black/green primary spring. Very flat shifting, maybe using a haulk orange would load down the motor on the bottom more? This is with srx pipes @ 8500 rpm, and HC-X roller secondary.
were did you see 88-9000 in 500 i cant find it.i have tried mine from 85-9100 in incroments of 100 best luck i had was 8600.maybe my tack is off ,the only other thing i can think is runing stock susp. creats enough drag it likes to have the torque.i have everything to try exactly what you run,i should put it together in my other clutches and give it a try.

yeah, the b1-45 helix was all i had at the time but it got the job done...I had the silver secondary wound at 90 degrees, and I had inner and outter weight in the 8ca's also with a hauck orange 3 shims..192 new chisels..also i weight 150lbs
