I Purchased a Yamaha Ultra Skid Plate (Part no. SMA-Ultra-01-BU) and going to install it on a 2003 Viper. Instructions are vague, I understand aligning it up,and installing the two front bolts with washers. There are 2 holes for rivets behind radius rods, and three along the back.Do I put rivets in all 5 holes?Anything I should be aware of before I drill? Any help on this great forum would be apreciated! Thanks, Tony :

i put rivets in all the holes just don't stick your drill bit all the way in once you get through the metal and you will be fine

yup, I used all 7, but the 4 fronts had the washers.....for the 3 rears, there were already rivets in the way...so I drilled on a slight angle....

Mine turned out PERFECT!!..and the fit was also right on the money....night and day differece in the looks of the front (PS - i painted my grills at the same time)
