Last september on haydays I had a chance to purchase a set of Power Inc. center Dumps for my 99' sx 600.
Last week I put the first 25 miles on them with Ryan's (pro116) advice on setting up jets and clutches, it runs awesome, sounds good and pulls nice (thanks again men, I will never get tired to thank pleople on this site). But for some reason I want to make it pull a little bit harder if I can. (get the skis up in the air to get out of the deep a little bit better. so here is what I'm runing.
Jets 140/141.3/140 (after the 25 miles they look a little bit wet on the outside but nice and brwon in the middle, I rather be rich than sorry)
47.5 pilots Two turns out fuel screw....Didn't touch the needles
49/41 helix w/ green spring.
89l weights with 2.4 grams rivets and ygy spring.
8DN belt. 20/40 gears.
No mods to the air box.
136" track with 1.25 predator.
Viper rear and front shocks. rear shocks 50/50 set up and center 3/4 closed.
Limiter straps showing no thread, all the way out. (this should be safe for the w arm right...?)

The top rpms are 8100-8200.

What do you guys think.....I'm also not into racing but I will liketo show my two buddys what yammy is all about, any chance I'm beating a ZL 600 EFI clutched or a brand new IQ 600 stock.

Thanks for all the help guys.....I will try to post a nice pic and all the add ons on my sled soon....right now is nasty dirty from running cat tails on the ditches..... :winterrul / Hey mister sled can we get an icon that will say WINTER SUCKS :o|

You won,t get much better. With that gearing & track your good for about 660'. New iQ has about 120ish hp. You will get better top end & acceleration sucking up the limiters. Lifting the skiis looks & feels nice but slows ya down.

Ok turk thanks...That is what I needed to listen...Don't get me wrong I'm very very happy with it...but I needed to know other opinions about that set up, before start talking to much you know....(with the competition I mean)

pump up the jam

try a fresh air kit in if remember lots of mild days on my 600 twin got a little more snapp with cold air vent on dash same theory as srx I had and carbon tech reed they did well for me for less money than v force like turk said and would know did all you could guy will smile at this but I ran energy release fitch fuel catalist and torko sny oil all made a small bit of power and trottle response. there are reed spacers to be had too all help your pipes flow better kim
