Just wondering when you clean exhaust valves if the sled sounds diffrent after?I noticed my sled sounded alittle diffrent and was wondering if it was just because i cleaned them..iI checked the cables and all everything seems to be fine.

did you put points up, tapered side down. it will sound different if you have them in upside down. did you adjust them when you cleaned them?

louder yes..and a diffrent tone throughout the entire tpm range...freinds think i'm nuts but when you know the sound of your sled you notice any little change..but I almost thought it was a slight exhaust leak..that kinda sound but its not..pipes are all sealed up!oh and mind you all that the valves were cleaned 300-400 miles ago...had some carbon build up already on the outside of the valves and i'm not easy on it at any means

probably the motor is going to blow all to hell, just ride it and dont worry, its a piped viper and they never have any trouble

i experienced mine sounding different after cleaning, but 2 of three were stuck and it sounded like it was fouling out before i cleaned them - I think the sound after is "normal".

My center cylinder valve was completely stuck, cable pulled threw the valve and when i was at a higher rpm it sounded like the machine was sluggish/bogging hard to describe but there definately was a different sound when it was all back up and running right

my valves are all right..not sure how to make sure they are working but the cables are all attatched and they move alittle up and down with a finger...maybe when i sealed my pipes up it made the "sound" diffrence...

take the cover off the servo motor and let the idle go down to i think 900 rpms the valves will open i think most people are choking the to do this. and watch the servo turn.
