I have a question on Mountain Performance rods. Do I need any extra plastic spacers on a viper? I had the Maxx. Perf. rods on my 98 SX600 and I recall to put the Maxx. Perf. rods on a Viper I would need to order extra plastic spacers. I could not find the spacers on the Mountain Performance website. I am wondering because the Mtn. Perf. rods look just like the Maxx. perf. rods.

I also did some searching but didn't really find anything definite. Let me know if you find out anything.

I was told by the fella I got them from to use the original ones that came with the viper...basically just add the new Transfer rods...buut according to a PDF from the old Maxximum Performance catalogue...it says the Max Perf Rods require 4(2 each side)
10mm spacers...however unsure if thats with the existing spacers or without...

All my buddies have the Maxx Perf rods, so I suppose the easiest way to check would be to look at their sleds. Also ...are the mountain performance the same as the maxx perf rods or do they just look identical?
