when driving VERY slow thru tight bush trails I hear this horrible clanging noise.... at first I thought it was coming from the chain case.... I've opened it and checked out fine... chain is tightened to standards....
when I gently touch the brakes, seems to go away until I let off..... is there so much slop on the jackshaft where the brake disc fits that this noise is possible?... how can I get rid of it? it sounds like hell...

are you shure you don't have a broken link or a bad bearing on that side
its probably the disc rattling between the pads. sometimes the disc can be very loose! Try tightning, the brake caliper up a bit (parking caliper)

its most likely the disc rocking back and forth on the keyway on the jackshft, you can fix it with either a bender alum brake hub or if your cheap and want to fix it yourself, you can remove the brake disc and stake the hub with a chisel to tighten up the slot, youll have to lightly tap the hub back on the shaft with a peice of pipe over jackshaft but this will eliminate the slop and noise, bolt chaincase back on and your done.
