everyone will differ as to spring settings.

true but a generalization could still help

The longtravel kits by maxx perf and pioneer, added 1.5 inches at the rear bumper. So if you can find someone to tell you there height, you will know. i think my 700 sx with viper shocks the rear bumper was 20.5, but thats from a memory that has had some damage at times over the years. Maxdlx

bumper height
I have a 98 srx with a 04 viper skid and viper front shocks.
The height to the bottom of the rear bumper is 21"
The height to the bottom of the front bumper is 17.5"
When I had stock front shocks on with the viper skid, the rear bumper height was about 22.5.
Hope this helps

srx
just put viper rear shocks on 01 srx mine sits at 21 inches from ground to rear bumper now. stock im just guessing at least 2 to 3 inches lower. big difference.. this should give you a baseline.

There is a substantial difference in the length of an SRX shock and a Viper shock. If I remember right, the big shock is about 19.5" long on a Viper totally extended eye to eye. The Stock SRX large shock is much less then that. Probably in the 17" range or maybe slightly longer. If you lift the rear end of your sled and check under there, the viper shock should be near the 19" range and the srx should be in the 17" range both eye to eye. Hope this helps.

I have a 99 srx with stock shocks in it and the height at the bottom of the front bumper is 14.25" and the bottom of the rear bumper is 18" with a 1.25 ripsaw. All of my shock settings are stock if this helps.
