Anyone ever had the bushings on the secondary push out????????
Went out to play in the fresh powder last week and after ten minutes of playing felt a very bad low speed vibration and I idled home (1/4 mile thankfully).Checked the track and it was all good then checked the clucthes and saw the inside bushing up against the jackshaft bearing and the outer bushing was halfway out also.
Put new bushings in and used loctite red on them.I hope these stay in.
Any other thots?

I have had this happen a number of times. It was always with one of 2 secondaries though. All of the other secondaries never had it happen. I tried loctite a couple times but it didn't hold. I ended up peening the secondary hub a bit to keep the bushing from coming out

Note: Check your jackshaft bearing closely. It may have damaged it, and trust me you do not want that to go on you. I bent a jackshaft from the heat generated by a bad bearing just trying to limp it home.
