I just went from a studded track(192 studs) to a 1.25 nonstudded track and I am wonder if I should change the length of my carbides? I am running either 9 or 10" ones now. Any suggestions?? What do you guys run for carbides and what size track are you running?

i only run 6" but the carbide you have wont hurt to keep on there.being that their used it wont grip as hard.if they are new your front would be to grippy causing the back of sled to whip around.

If you do alot of riding on ice corners and things of that nature, I would say you may want to change out your carbides. However, I am goig under the assumption that these carbides are not brand new and they have wear to them. Once the carbides loose thier initial edge, they will not handle aswell resulting in a balance between a unstudded track and your current carbides.
