Going to look at a 98SRX on Saturday,has 1 1/4 picked track and 6000miles on her.Will check it out.Anything I should look for.I will check compression probably on it.
check to make shure the clutches sheaves aren't cracked by the shaft.Check to make shure the rollers and weights still have their bishings.Of coure the w arm.Wheel bearings if bad it gives you a better bargning price.Make shure the heat exchager isn't pushed in which messes up the steering I seen that on lots of sleds and people try to pawn them off.

Ask if the crank has been updated
Powervalves & cables could be hooped.Getting time for a stator.

Hey Turk could you please talk plain english there...re:hooped...you mean cables pulled through.Now if I purchase an SRX I am going to have to learn about the power-valves and such.

I have e-mailed the guy and asked him for the VIN # so I can check on crank.Can my local dealer check this or do I phone Yamaha Canada Direct for the info.All I will find out is yes or no on that subject.If no,then you say don't buy it.He has 6000 miles on it and engine still runs.He said starts on one pull.
