I was wondering if anybody would know the difference is and which is better end dump pipes or the kind i see on e-bay there is a set of power inc. pipes for my sx 700 and some i see are end dump pipes and then there is another set by power inc that look like they come out somewhere in the middle of the expansion chamber it also says they are the gyt pipes the other pipes are off a mountain max i don't know if that would make a difference or not any help would be much helpful
centre dumps vs end dumps.....covered a skazillion times on here
centre dumps..run at 7900-8200 rpm
Sound awful
Make ok power
ok on a stock motor
End dumps
sound great
Make power from 8200-8800 rpm
Great on a modded motor
Probably make more top end power on a stocker but never seen a side by side comparison even tho i personally owned both pipes.
I have seem some mysterious burn downs(including mine) with centre dump pipes even jetted rich.
