I just finished a total Sno Scoot Restoration. We finally got a dusting of snow and I now have a chance to tune it up.
I need some help with the carb. There is a small inlet on the carb that almost looks like a primer fitting, however, I am sure the Scoots never had one. The previous owner had a small fuel line on it and plugged the end.
I don't see this inlet on the Yamaha parts website. Does anyone know the proper set-up. How did it come from Yamaha?
Thanks,
Phil

not an oil line
The oil injection line joins into the fuel line right before the carb. The oil injection plumbing is clearly laid out in the manual. This fitting is no where to be found. I was told by a guy who has several Scoots, that it is a breather.
If anyone else has any info, or a photo of how it was supplied from Yamaha, that would be a great help.
Thanks
