can i change the gears in my 98 and what is the benifits i have stock gears right now. wondering about going up a tooth or 2. i think the 2000 and up have this stock.
it gives you better acceleration and midrange power, a very good improvment for your sled! , maybe even gear it lower than the 00-02 srx.. i allways did and got great power from stock.
98-99 srx= 24-37
00-02 srx= 23-37

Is the stock gearing fairly decent or should it be changed, i know for short drag racing it should but overall is it worth the time to go changing gears?
what kind of riding do you mostly do.If you don't do alot of top end racing got down a tooth to a 22-37.I have one if your interested.

i dont do a lot of top end racing but when i do i would like to have every advantage. so if i go up one tooth how much affect is there on my bottom end. and what will 1 tooth gain me. and if i go to a 22 how much is lost on top end and what is gained on the bottom.
