i know this problem has been mentioned before but i couldn't find any threads about it. for a couple of years now, my viper has had an occasional bog at WOT. it runs perfect all through the rpm range, but when it is wide open it sounds like it drops a cylinder and only runs around 7 grand. if i let off it and bar it again it is fine. last year i put new plug caps on it but i didn't ride it again till this year. the plug caps didn't solve the problem. i'm puzzled, anyone else have this happen? what is the fix? thanks

my mtn srx bogs at wot in powder or steep climbing, when i check plugs center plug is black 1&3 are tan.rpm drops from 8500 to7500. has cold air kit ,window screen on vents and tempa flow but last week it was -22C and i disabled tempa flow but no change in bog ,no bogging if not in powder.anybody have suggestions

Air box on all three carbs?

Could be you didn't get the carb boots on perfectly. One might be sucking some air. Just a thought.

Alot of bog going on with vipers lately. Could it be that some of us have reached a point (x amount of miles) where the TORS is going out? Mine started acting up at around 4-5K miles. You guys think there is any relevance here?

you need to make a exh. outlet deflector to keep the pipe from getting snow in the end of it.
