Dealer changed jetting after I bought the sled , heres what I have and does it make sense? Why the difference in fuel screw turns, is it to match up with the Pilot? Sled is stock and trail ridden in Michigan(UP included)
PTO Center Mag
155 155 155 main
45 42.5 42.5 pilot
1.75 2.25 2.25 fuel screw turns

no, doesnt make sense the PTO is already lower compression so you can use straight jetting on all 3. This was a big deal to Yamaha to help simplify the jetting for consumers. You dont need to stagger jet any of the jets, pilot, needle , mains or fuel screws.
Thanks MrV, would you suggest I make them all the same or is this Ok to run without any performance issues? It has been this way for 3000 miles and seemed to run fine, but Im no Tuner!!
Thanks again
I do have a problem this year(this is why I have the carbs off now, cleaning) , Its falling on its face from an Idle. Runs fine mid to WOT, but will dam near stall if I dont feather the throttle off the line. Carbs and jets are clean, Power Valves maybe?
Thanks again
