I have an SRX 700 that I had to replace the front heat exchanger on thus ripping the entire sled apart. A real pain. The service manual calls for a few different types of greases.
1. molybdenum disulfide grease
2. low temp lithium soap base grease
3. Esso beacon 325 grease or aeroshell grease # 7a
Any idea what the heck these things are
Can't one grease serve most purposes
grease # 3 is requred for chain case housing and slide rail suspension
any thoughts
Thanks
Joe

Jeesh! I think I'd still all the same stuff in there and not worry about it. As far as chain case lube, it better be runny and not come out of a grease gun! Yamalube works quite well for everything on a sled. Good luck!
