I got to drive my srx for the first time this year and all I can say is WOW! What a difference it made, I was looking for some better transfer and boy do I got transfer. My srx went from a slot car to a wild horse. Way to much transfer, so I changed the transfer blocks on it and it helped out a lot. I also added some ohlins up front and what a difference. My srx can now handle the bumps with the best of them. I also raised my handle bars up with the pivot block and a 2" riser and tell you the truth Im not sure if I like it. My right wrist was killing me so im going to work on the handle bar location some more. I didnt get to line it up with anyone but it sure felt a lot faster. So far im happy with the change.

transfer is just like a loud exaust, makes things seem alot faster. not saying its not faster but its just the way a mans brain works. I had a buddys canister on last year swore the sled ripped. wasnt any slower but wasnt faster either. but it sure did sound faster. which brings the question. Why?

I think you are right, im sure it wasnt any faster but it felt a lot faster.

depends on how well you were hooking up before... if you would spin for 20 feet and then hook and rip and now you spin for 5 feet... you shopuld be a bit quicker :)

I must ammend.... hanging the skis in the air for 50 feet is useless, you end up with a LOT more wind drag and top end will be slower. ideal is to transfer, hook, then get the skis back on the ground. its why GOOD drag racers tend to not wheelie that far. and the reason for wheelie bars ;)

Seriously guys is it that serious that we can't raise our skis in the air and thank the snow gods! When I get my edge out its full transfer all the way! It looks cool, it is cool, and its what its all about!!! I'm not out to drag race most of the time but even if you lose with the skis in the air for about 200 ft your still a winner in the eyes of the onlookers :)

Just playn guys have fun with that baby!

kinger, LOL my foreamrs and my wrists were sore because it was transfering so much. It would rear back just like trying to tame a wild horse. I do have to admit it was kinda fun. Im going to play with if some more to find a good balance. I also had the springs set on soft so I will play with that also. One thing forsure is that it takes the bumps much better.
