Well the snow gods finally smiled on a little here, or at least smirked. After completely rebuilding the engine, only to sieze it up after 6 
miles 4 weeks ago, finally got it back together, and got a ride in today. BTW, SRX oil pumps can go bad, 
but that's just a bad memory now, and lesson learned I guess. So 2 new jugs, pistons, rings, oil & fuel pump later, I'm back in business. Sled is set up per my signature, and jetted 151.3, 150, 150. Plugs look a tad rich, but it was only about -4C here today.Clutching is 8dn-20's, 4.5's both holes, w-w-w primary, green sec at 85 twist with Advant-edge 48-40 helix modded for CPR, so it has 5* increments. Pulls 8400 all the way to 90mph, then starts to climb a little. Didn't do any real long pulls yet. I gotta say, for anyone with an SRX, or thinking of getting one, and is not a Rev fan, this is the ticket! I have lots of miles on several Rev's, including Gades, and I can not be comfortable on one. But the old back won't take the SRX stock either. So I spent the summer building what I hoped would be the best of both worlds. This set-up rocks, easily as plush as the Rev, just soaks up 2 footers, the wide front end rails as good as stock, even with the increased front & rear ride height. Very happy with the works shock as well. Couldn't get a real good judgement on darting with the shims due to loose snow for the most part. So for anyone that is old school like me (or maybe just plain old LOL), and doesn't like the rider forward stuff, don't be shy to spend the money to build a similar set-up, you will not be disappointed. I'm sure the M10 would be comparable. (oh the reverse is nice too!) I was pretty happy with the set-up I had on my ZR900, but I think this set-up is head and shoulders above that! Also way better than the bro's Warrior. Thanks to Turk & MrViper in particular, and everyone on TY, without whose knowledge and help my sled would probably still be in 101 pieces in the garage, especially with me comin off 20 years of Cats.
