can anyone help with the hook-up of a vdo xtreme cant find the tach signal wire any help would be great
yellow with black stripe is the wire.

the only one i can find is the one at the key switch is that the one
its in the hood harness, undo the tape and youll see it plain as day

i dont have a hood harness as im using all autometer gauges is there any other wire or spot to find the wire thanks for the help

all the tach does is go to 6500 and stay there when the tach is turned on cant get any signal any where

can any one help would really like to make some passes on the sled to see how it runs with the big bore and spray.any help would be great
on the dip switchs on the back 1,2,3 should be on and 4 off
(blue wire)-not used
(green wire) - goes to the yellow with blk stripe on srx harness, this is the tach feed wire
(white wire)-unused(light)
(black wire)-must be grounded to chassi and if you run a battery ground it to the neg post as well.
(red wire)-12volt power source wire from battery
(yellow wire)-unused

that is how i have it except i dont have a hood harness is there any other wire i can hook it to
